Mr. Carl Cox is the CEO and founder of 40 Strategy Inc. 

Mr. Cox is passionate about designing strategic plans but, more importantly, getting them done. With a focus on purpose, alignment, and key performance indicators, Mr. Cox works with CEOs to give them the confidence to succeed. After a plan has been designed, he follows up with leaders to ensure they have developed best practices to evaluate the status and prioritize goals.   

Throughout his career, Mr. Cox has been an executive leader and board member with multiple organizations that have grown three to five times the size of operations on four continents. Before starting 40 Strategy, Mr. Cox was the CEO of North America and founded the U.S. office of an Australia-based strategic planning software company. They grew to more than 300 clients with his leadership. In this leadership role, not only did Mr. Cox successfully grow the company to 50% of the global business, but he also had the opportunity to consult with multiple organizations on best practices for strategic planning and execution.  

Mr. Cox is on the board of directors for the Oregon Manufacturing Extension Partnership and  has served on multiple boards throughout his career. He even donates 10% of his clients’ net revenues towards charitable organizations.

Mr. Cox hosts the “Measure Success Podcast,” where he interviews top business and organizational leaders about their success stories. He is also a certified Gallup StrengthsFinder coach. 

Mr. Cox is married and has four children. He has coached youth football, basketball, and baseball for a combined 25 seasons and enjoys playing golf. He recently completed his first marathon and resides in North Plains, Oregon.
