Robert Cooperstein was awarded the status of Professor Emeritus at Palmer Chiropractic College West in 2022, having been a full-time professor of chiropractic there for 33 years before retiring in June 2022.

Dr. Cooperstein was in private practice for 36 years until retiring in 2021. He teaches Continuing Education, having done that for several decades. Dr. Cooperstein has authored four textbooks and published dozens of peer-reviewed research publications, several book chapters, more than 100 articles for chiropractic trade journals, and about 70 articles for the Journal of the American Chiropractic Association. He is on the editorial board of several journals, peer reviews an article per month, and has presented dozens of times at chiropractic research conferences.
