Dr. Chris Malaya is an alumnus and current clinician scientist at Parker University. He received his chiropractic degree in 2018 and was the first student to graduate with research honors.

After graduating, he continued to complete a Ph.D. in motor control in 2022 at the University of Houston. His primary research interests are sensorimotor integration and extension, the mechanisms and effects of extremity manipulation, and gravity-based gait interventions.

He currently co-directs the Synapse Laboratory at Parker University.
